Sandra Brown, MD has specialized in the care of children, and of adult patients with eye muscle problems, since 1994. She joined Cabarrus Eye Center in 2005.

Dr. Brown provides expert, experienced care for the following Pediatric Eye Problems:

• Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)
• Strabismus (eye misalignment)
• Glasses and Contact Lenses
• Eye Muscle Surgery (.pdf)
• Blocked Tear Ducts
• Cataract and Glaucoma
• Styes and Blepharitis
• Infections
• Uveitis
• Trauma
• Congenital Abnormalities
• Inherited Eye Diseases
• Vision Loss of Unknown Cause
• School Vision Examinations

Dr. Brown also provides Adult Eye Care for the following conditions:

• Double Vision

• Lyme Disease (by referral only)
• Neurological vision problems (by referral only)

The pediatric clinic has late afternoon hours to accomodate working parents and school schedules. There is a pediatric optical shop in the clinic building. Surgery is generally performed on Friday so that children may return to school or day care on the following Monday.
